What does Swift UV do?
Swift UV disinfects your phone by blasting it with UV-C light which penetrates through the pathogens’ DNA rendering them inert. Swift UV does not clean your phone. It will not remove dirt and grime.
Do I need to clean my phone before using Swift UV?
Absolutely not! Swift UV is designed to cut through the dirt and grime on your phone and still disinfect. Although we recommend routinely wiping down your phone to keep it squeaky clean.
How do I maintain my Swift UV?
Maintenance for Swift UV is minimal. The chamber should be cleaned once every 500 cycles. The display can be cleaned anytime it appears visually necessary, both can be cleaned by using a 70/30 isopropyl mixture and or a standard lens cloth.
How long do the UV-C modules in my Swift UV last?
Our UV-C modules should last for about 5 years with average use.
What if I have an issue with my Swift UV?
Most issues are minor and can be resolved by following the instructions on the display. If you have a more serious issue or require additional help just contact us and we’ll get you back up and running in no time.
What if the power goes out while my phone is being disinfected?
If there is ever a loss of power to the device you can turn the knob located in the lower-left corner of the chamber counter-clockwise to raise your phone up and out. Depending on how far down into the disinfection chamber your device is when the power is lost, you may need to rotate the knob 20-30 times.
Is Swift UV safe for my phone?
Yes, Swift UV is safe for your phone. Swift UV uses chemical-free UV-C light to disinfect up to 99.99% of pathogens living on your phone.
Does Swift UV come with hand sanitizer?
A Purell® ES8 hand sanitizer dispenser is included with your Swift UV, but the hand sanitizer fluid is sold separately. To purchase fluid for the Purell ES8 hand sanitizer dispenser contact your distributor or click here to place an order.
Do I have to use the hand sanitizer dispenser that is included with the Swift UV?
No, you do not! We designed the Swift UV’s sanitizer mounting plate to be compatible with most wall-mountable hand sanitizer dispensers.
